Shamsher Mobin among 3 join Bikalpa Dhara

Senior Correspondent: Formber BNP leader Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and 2 others have joined Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB).

Shamsher Mobin, former vice-chairman of BNP, joined the party of former president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Friday afternoon, three years after he resigned from BNP mentioning his physical ground.

The other two persons, once who were involved in BNP politics, are first elected president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Golam Sarwar and engineer Shafiqur Rahman.

All the three leaders joined Bikalpa Dhara handing over bouquet to the party president Dr Badruddoza Chowdhury.

Earlier, the three leaders attended the special council of Bikalpa Jubadhara, an affiliate of BDB. Later, BDB Joint Secretary General Mahi B Chowdhury invited them to the stage.

Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP) Chairman Jebel Rahman Gani, who left the BNP-lead 20 party alliance, its secretary general Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan, National Democratic Party (NDP) Chairman Khandoker Gulam Murtaza, general secretary of Bangladesh Labour Party (faction) Hamdullah Al Mehedi and former minister Nazimuddin Al Azad among others were present in the programme.
