Six new parties join B Chy’s Juktafront

Senior Correspondent: Six new political parties have joined former president Dr Badruddoza Chowdhury led Juktafront.

The parties joined the alliance at the Auditorium of Engineers Institution in the capital officially on Thursday afternoon.

The parties are Jebel Rahman Gani’s Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP), Golam Mortuz’s National Democratic Party (NDP), former minister Najim Uddin al Azad’s Bangladesh Liberal Democratic Party (BLDP), Sheikh Mohammad Asaduzzaman’s Jatiya Janata Party, Hamdullah Al Mehedi led Labour Party (faction) and Dilip Kumar Das’s Bangladesh Minority Front.

Besides, central leader of Jatiya Party (Kazi Zafor), one of the allies of 20-party alliance, also former parliament member Golam Reza, Kamal Pasha of Gonofront, Nur A Alam of Muslim League, Joy Chowdhury and Kalil Ullah, among others, of Janadal, joined Bikalpadhra Bangladesh on the day.

The leaders officially joined the party handing over bouquets to Dr Badruddoza Chowdhury.
