Demand for release of Razakars’ list

Staff Correspondent: Cultural platform Sammilita Sangskritik Jote President Golam Kuddus has demanded to ban Jamaat-e-Islami as a political party and to release a full-fledged list of Razakars, who were involved in opposing Liberation War in 1971.
He made the demand in rally held at Projonmo Chattar in front of National Museum at the capital’s Shahbag on Friday afternoon.
Cultural and social organisation Gourab 71 organised the programme.
Golam Kuddus, “Jamaat has been opposing every movement of the country since 1947. Their conspiracies still continue. A person can be tried for the crimes committed by him/her. But an organisation cannot be tried. The organisation must be banned in case of sentencing to any punishment.”
He said over Dr Kamal led Oikyafront that a political unity must be formed by ideology, but there is no ideology in the Jatiya Oikyafront formed with the leadership of Dr Kamal. The unity is just to capture the power.
Gonojagoron Mancha organiser Bappaditya Basu said, “Those who did not want existence of Bangladesh should be banned. Voting rights of their families should also be ceased.”
Swadhin Bangla Betar singer Manoranjan Ghoshal said, “I never thought of delivering speeches about Razakars after 47 years of the liberation. I think Razakars of Jamaat will hatch conspiracies joining different political parties. We should be alert in this regard.”
