Govt-EC trying to foil election: Fakhrul

Staff Correspondent: BNP Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the government and Election Commission are trying to foil the election jointly.

The secretary general of BNP made the opinion while addressing reporters after a meeting with Election Commissioner at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday noon.

He said that the election commission and government failed to create a minimum atmosphere for the upcoming election.

“His (CEC) behavior was inappropriate,” Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said.
