BNP candidates come in Dhaka Thursday

Senior Reporter: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party has called party candidates in the 11th parliamentary elections to party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office on Thursday to go towards the Election Commission for submitting a memorandum.

The main opposition alliance Jatiya Oikya Front is scheduled for Thursday to submit the memorandum demanding fresh general election as soon as possible under a non-party government cancelling Sunday’s Bangladesh elections.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Tuesday evening that all the candidates nominated by the party were called to the Gulshan office at 10:00am on Thursday without making detail about the purpose.
