BNP MPs join parliament following party decision: Fakhrul

Staff Correspondent: BNP decided to join the parliament for the sake of democracy restoration, party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said this while briefing reporters at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital on Monday night.
"Amid a serious crisis in national politics and a complicated situation, our party has taken the decision to join parliament as part of our movement for our leader Khaleda Zia's release and her proper treatment and restoration of democracy," he said.
In reply to a query regarding his oath, Fakhrul said, “Wait, everything will be disclosed in time.”
Earlier on Monday afternoon, BNP’s four other MPs-elect took oath as members of the 11th National Parliament.
The four BNP MPs are – Harun-ur Rashid Harun (Chapainawabganj-3), Aminul Islam (Chapainawabganj-2), Advocate Abdus Sattar (Brahmanbaria-2) and Mosharraf Hossain (Bogura-4).
