Staff Correspondent: Nomination paper of BNP’s Assistant International Affairs Secretary Rumeen Farhana has been declared valid.
Returning Officer and Election Commission Joint Secretary Md Abul Kashem announced this at 11.00am on Tuesday.
Rumeen Farhana submitted her nomination paper to the Election Commission on Monday for a reserved seat for women in the parliament.
The reserved seats for women are allocated to political parties in proportion with their number of seats in parliament.
