BNP announces fresh programme

BNP today announced a fresh programme after being failed to carry out the programme set earlier.

There was supposed to hold a demonstration today in front of the party's Naya Paltan central office in protest against the rejection of a bail petition by the High Court for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

BNP alleged that the party could not carry out the programme today due to the obstruction from police.

Facing obstruction in holding demonstration, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a press conference today announced the fresh programme which will be observed tomorrow in every thana of the Dhaka Metropolitan.

He said the party will hold a human chain in front of the National Press Club for an hour starting from 11:00 am.
