BNP leader Harris Chowdhury dies

BNP leader Harris Chowdhury died at a hospital in UK.

Ashik Chowdhury, Harris Chowdhury’s cousin and vice-president of Sylhet district unit of BNP, on Wednesday morning (January 12) said Harris Chowdhury died three and a half month ago.

He said “Harris Chowdhury died at a London hospital in September of 2021. He tested Covid-19 positive in August and admitted to a hospital. He returned his residence after he had tested Covid-19 negative. But he did not overcome the post-Covid-19 complications and he was admitted to the hospital again where he died”.

Munnu Chowdhury, daughter of Harris Chowdhury, forbade me not to declare his death in the country, he also said.

Harris Chowdhury was sentenced to life in prison in August 21 grenade attack case.
