3 physicians from US to arrive in Dhaka to treat Khaleda

Three physicians from the US are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka to assist in treating BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The physicians are — Christos Georgiades, James Peter Adam Hamilton, and Hamid Ahmed Abdur Rabb.

According to BNP sources, the specialist doctors from the United States will work in coordination with the medical board formed to treat Khaleda Zia.

On Wednesday (October 25), BNP media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said that Begum Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various sicknesses. Her family and party have repeatedly appealed to the government to take her abroad for better treatment. She is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital for more than two and a half months. Efforts are being made by the family and the party to bring in foreign specialist doctors for her treatment.
