BNP’s grand rally begins

BNP started its grand rally in front of the party’s Nayapaltan headquarters this afternoon to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government.

The rally started at 12:45 pm where thousands of party leaders and activists gathered.

The Dhaka city unit (North and South) of the BNP is organizing rally in front of the party office.

Leaders, activists and supporters of the BNP started gathering in processions in front of party’s Nayapaltan office since 7:30am, wearing colourful caps, carrying placards and posters, and chanting anti-government slogans.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has remained present as the chief guest at the event.
