Mirza Fakhrul allegedly picked up by DB

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been allegedly picked up by Detective Branch (DB) of police from his Gulshan residence.

BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Sunday morning (October 29).

Rahat Ara Begum, wife of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir claimed that a detective team of police took CCTV camera device first from the house. Later, the law enforcers picked up Mirza Fakhrul.

BNP Chairperson's media wing member Shamsuddin Didar said members of law enforcement forces went to the residence of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in Gulshan (H-18, Road-71, Gulshan-2) and detained him around 9:30 am.

Shamsuddin Didar also claimed police have surrounded the residence of Mirza Abbas in the capital's Shahjahanpur.
