BNP announces 3-day countrywide blockade

The BNP has announced that the party will observe a “countrywide blockade” for three days starting from October 31 to press home their one-point demand and to protest the killing of the party activists and the arrests of party leaders and activists, including its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The countrywide blockade will continue till November 2. 

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement at a virtual press briefing on Sunday (October 29) evening.
