Bangladesh receives record remittance in October

Bangladesh received $197 crore 75 lakh and 60 thousand in inward remittances in October.

It was the highest in last four months.

According to the central bank data on Wednesday, expatriates sent $ 64 crore 32 lakh more remittances in October compared to September.

Bangladesh received $ 133 crore 43 lakh in inward remittances in September.

The remittance incentive has been increased from 2.5 percent to 5 percent at the end of this month for which remittances have come in higher this month.
