Industrialization, employment to get priority in AL manifesto

Industrialization and employment will get top priority in the manifesto of ruling Awami League (AL) for the forthcoming national election.
AL Presidium Member Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, also convener of the election manifesto subcommittee, disclosed this at a views exchange meeting at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city on Sunday.
“We are giving priority to employment generation in bid to attract youths and creating an environment favourable for investments in the manifesto”, he said.
“We are sufficient in food production but behind in production of milk and eggs. We will take steps to increase production so that prices come down”, he said.
Dr. Selim Mahmud, member secretary of the election manifesto subcommittee, was also present.
