BNP announces another two-day blockade

The BNP has announced another two-day nationwide blockade starting from Wednesday, demanding release of all of their leaders including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and immediate resignation of the ruling government.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement in a virtual press conference on Monday afternoon.

The third phase of the blockade will start at 6:00am on Wednesday and will continue till Friday 6:00am.
