Bangladesh set a challenging target of 307 runs for Australia in the 43rd match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 being played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune of India on Saturday (November 11).
Earlier, Australia won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first in the match.
Sent in to bat, Bangladesh scored 306 runs in stipulated 50 overs losing eight wickets, thanks to a 74-run brilliant innings of Towhid Hridoy from 79 balls.
Bangladesh vice-captain Najmul Hossain Shanto is leading the team in absence of captain Shakib Al Hasan.
