India set a target of 241 runs for Australia in the final match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 being played at the 130,000-seat Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad of India, the largest cricket stadium in the world.
Earlier, the Aussies won the toss and invited India to bat first in the final match.
Sent in to bat, India scored 240 runs in stipulated 50 overs losing all wickets.
For India, Rohit Sharma scored 47 runs with four boundaries and three over boundaries, Virat Kohli scored 54 runs with four boundaries and KL Rahul scored 66 runs.
