Khulna Tigers beat Fortune Barishal 

Khulna Tigers beat Fortune Barishal by eight wickets in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday night.

Fortune Barishal managed 187 runs. Khulna Tigers reached the target by eight wickets with 12 balls to spare.

Two openers Anamul Hque Bijoy and Evin Lewis  made the best use of the Mandatory Powerplay adding 77 runs from just 5.3 overs, with contiuously hitting boundaries.

Lewis departed for stormy 53 from 22 deliveries decorated with five sixes and fours each while Bijoy remained unbeaten on 63 from 44 balls hitting three sixes and fours and made two more crucial partnerships with Afif Hossain, 41 from 36, and Shai Hope, the latter was not out for 25.

Only Mohammad Imran, who took two wickets, was the successful bowler from Barishal.
