Application filed to get GI status for Tangail Saree

The Tangail district administration has filed an application to get Geographical Indication (GI) status for Tangail Saree.

Tangail Deputy Commissioner Md Kaisarul Islam sent the application to the ministry by mail on Tuesday (February 6). 

A copy of the application will be submitted on Wednesday (February 7).
