Rangpur beat Khulna by 78 runs

Rangpur Riders beat Khulna Tigers by 78 runs in the 30th game of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday.

The Riders bowled the Tigers out for 141 while defending 219 runs. 

Opting to bat, Rangpur posted the massive total of 219 runs with outstanding fifties hit by Shakib Al Hasan and Mahedi Hasan. 

Shakib, 69 from 31, and Mahedi, 60 from 36, provided a solid foundation with a 109-run stand between them

In reply, Khulna started going back-foot from the very beginning as they lost wickets at regular intervals that resulted their innings stopped at 141.
