Sri Lanka set 256-run target for Bangladesh

Sri Lanka has set a target of 256 runs for Bangladesh in the first ODI of the series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Sri Lanka captain Kushal Mendis won the toss and decided to bat first, sending Bangladesh to the field.

Sri Lanka managed 255 runs with loss of all wickets in 48. 5 overs.

Bangladesh's challenge is to turn around in the ODI series after the T20 series loss. 

So far, Bangladesh-Sri Lanka have faced a total of 54 matches in ODIs. Bangladesh won 10 and Sri Lanka won 42 matches. And there was no result in the remaining 2 matches.
