Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by six wickets

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the first ODI of the series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka captain Kushal Mendis won the toss and decided to bat first, sending Bangladesh to the field.

Sri Lanka managed 255 runs with loss of all wickets in 48.5 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh reached the target with loss of four wickets in 44.4 overs. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto hit the century.

Bangladesh's challenge was to turn around in the ODI series after the T20 series loss.
