Chinese Taipei beat Bangladesh by 4 goals

Bangladesh women’s football team suffered a 4-0 goal defeat to upper ranked Chinese Taipei in the first match of the two-match FIFA Women's International Football Series (Tier-1) held at Bashundhara Kings Arena on Friday.
The visitors, who are 100 places ahead of Bangladesh in FIFA Ranking, dominated the match and earned a facile victory.
Taking 3-0 lead at the first half, the visiting team added one more goal in the second half to seal the victory.
In the 62nd minute, Bangladesh got a scoring opportunity for the first time but Monika Chakma's shot from the left went out of play after hitting the cross bar.
Bangladesh has never played any match against Chinese Taipei before.
The second and ultimate match between the two sides will be held on June 3 at the same venue.
