Australia beat Bangladesh by 28 runs (DLS method) at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda on Friday (June 21).

Rain has had the last say and Australia win this Super Eight game. Chasing a target of 141 runs, Australia scored 100 runs in 11.2 overs. After that, the match could not start due to rain. The Aussies left the field after winning the match by 28 runs in DLS.

David Warner was unbeaten on 53 and Glenn Maxwell on 14 runs.

Rishad Hossain took two wickets for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Australia had held Bangladesh to 140-8 off their 20 overs.

Pat Cummins was given Man of the match award for a brilliant hat-trick and 29 runs.
