HSC exams of July 21, 23 and 25 suspended

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations, scheduled for July 21, 23, and 25 under all education boards, have been suspended amid the ongoing student movement demanding quota reform.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarker, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, made the announcement in a statement issued on Thursday (July 18) afternoon.
The new schedule for the postponed exams would be announced later, and the exams on July 28 would proceed as scheduled, he said.
Earlier on July 16, the committee suspended the HSC and its equivalent examination scheduled for Thursday (July 18) on the same ground.
