Faruque Ahmed to become BCB president

Former cricketer also chief selector Faruque Ahmed is going to become the new president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The framework has already been finalized already. Now it is being implemented.
Adviser for Youth and Sports Ministry, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan joined a meeting with Faruque Ahmed in this regard on Saturday night.
Sources said that the BCB’s constitution and the obligations of the International Cricket Council (ICC) were discussed in the meeting.
Faruque’s BCB president issue has been finalized in that meeting, risingbd confirmed. A source related to the formation of the committee said it is almost final that Faruque Ahmed is going to become the BCB president.
Earlier, on June 19, 2016, the former Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Faruque Ahmed stepped down as the chief selector after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) approved changes to the selection process.
