Naimur Rahman resigns from BCB

Naimur Rahman, popularly known as Durjoy, has tendered his resignation as board director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), citing personal reasons.
“I have resigned from the BCB due to personal reasons. I sent my resignation letter to the BCB CEO last night,” Durjoy, the first Test captain of Bangladesh told the reporters on Wednesday.
Earlier, BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon and Women's Wing chairman Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel resigned from their post following the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina-led government.
Jalal Yunus also stepped down after National Sports Council (NSC) asked him to do so. Yunus came to BCB after being nominated by NSC.
