Shakib announces retirement from Tests

Shakib Al Hasan, the star cricketer of Bangladesh team, has announced that he will retire from Test cricket after playing matches against the South Africa.

Discussion and criticism about Shakib Al Hasan are high nowadays. In the midst of the discussion, Bangladesh all-time great Shakib Al Hasan made the announcement on Thursday (September 26).

In the press conference at Kanpur, Shakib said that the Test series against South Africa will be the last Test series of his career.

However, there is an issue also. If BCB can guarantee the safety of Shakib regarding going home then he will go. Otherwise, Kanpur Test will be his last match of his career.

Shakib said, “Listen, so far, I am available. As there are many situations in the country now, everything is definitely not up to me. I have discussed this with BCB. They have been told what my plan is. If there is a chance, if I go to the country, can play, then Mirpur Test will be my last.”
