India beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets

India beat Bangladesh by seven wickets in the series opener of three-match T20I series at Gwalior on Sunday (October 6).

Earlier, India have won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first. The visitors managed to pile 127 runs in their stipulated 20 overs.

Mehidy Miraz was the highest scorer. He took 35 runs from 32 balls. Besides, Shanto scored 27 from 25 balls.

To chase the target, India wrap up the win within 12 overs with 7 wickets in hand as Hardik Pandya finishes unbeaten on 39 off 16, after some quickfire cameos from the top three. Debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy also finishes unbeaten.

Player of the match award was given to Arshdeep Singh for his outstanding performance.
