Bangladesh beat Maldives by 2-1 goals in their second match of International friendlies at Bashundhara Kings Arena of the Bashundhara Sports Complex on Saturday.
In the proceeding, Midfielder Ali Fasir scored for Maldives in the 23rd minute while Mojibor Rahman Jony netted for Bangladesh in the 42nd minute.
Substitute Papon Singh sealed the victory for Bangladesh in the injury time of the second half.
With the day's win, Bangladesh leveled the series 1-1 following their solitary goal defeat against Maldives in the first match.
Maldives goalkeeper Hussain Shareef and midfielder Mohamed Irufaan repeated the same performance of the first match on this day and denied all efforts by Bangladesh’s star-studded attacking unit inside their box.
