U-19 Asia Cup final: India invite young Tigers to bat

India captain Mohamed Amaan has won the toss and asked defending champion Bangladesh to bat first in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (December 8).

In 2023, the young Tigers thrashed the United Arab Emirates by a big margin of 195 runs and won the trophy for the first time.

Azizul Hakim Tamim and Co began the tournament with wins over Afghanistan and Nepal before finishing as Group B runners-up after losing to Sri Lanka.

The young Tigers in red and green then defeated Pakistan in the semi-final to set up a final date with record eight-time winners India.
