Bangladesh win gold in South Asian archery

Sports Desk: Bangladeshi archers produced an impressive performance, grabbing a gold medal at the South Asian Championships-2018 on Tuesday.
The third edition of the South Asian Archery Championship, organised by Bangladesh Archery Federation, is underway at BKSP in Savar. Today is the final day of the championship.
The day started with the recurve men’s singles final. Two Bangladeshi archers Mohammad Romman Sana and Ibrahim Sheikh Rezwan started the event and fought equally. And finally, SSC examinee Ibrahim grabbed the gold medal beating Romman Sana by 6-2 point.
Expressing gratitude, Ibrahim said, "I thought I will get silver medal. But, instantly the whole situation changed when I won gold. Bangladesh got first gold medal through the win."
Bangladesh Archery Federation general secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal congratulated the both after the game.
Around 63 archers from four countries – India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and host Bangladesh – took part in the four-day event.
