Bangladesh girls win four-nation title

Sports Desk: Bangladesh U-15 Women’s Football Team emerge champion in the four-nation Jockey Club Girls International (JCGI) Youth Invitational Football Tournament as they beat hosts Hong Kong 6-0 in their third and final game on Sunday.
Striker Tohura Khatun scored a hattrick against Hong Kong which helped Bangladesh girls to lead the first half 3-0. She also scored a hattrick against Iran in the second match on Saturday. She earned 8 goals in three matches of the tournament.
Tohura started the goal-rush in the fourth minute before scoring in the 40th and 74th minute to complete her second successive hattrick.
Bangladesh went into the game needing at least a draw to win the championship, but they completed a satisfying campaign with yet another dazzling display after their SAF dominance.
It was a tournament where Bangladesh rained in goals in every game. Bangladesh girls made a flying start in the tournament crushing Malaysia by 10-1 goals on Friday.
In the second game, they upset the Asian powerhouse Iran by 8-0 goals at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground in Hong Kong on Saturday.
