Bangladesh emerge group champion, beating Nepal

Sports Correspondent: Bangladesh had secured spot in the semi-finals of the SAFF U-18 Championship beating Pakistan by 17-0 goals in their first match on Monday.
On Tuesday, the girls in red and green finished as Group B champion after edging Nepal 2-1 in their last group phase match at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
In the process, Bangladesh girls set up a semi-final clash with host Bhutan, scheduled for Friday at the same venue.
On Tuesday, Sirat Jahan Swapna lead Bangladesh ahead as she netted the ball at 16th minute. Swapna scored 7 goals against Pakistan.
Krishna Rani made it double at 32nd minute.
For Nepal, Rashmi Kumari socred a goal in the additional time in the second-half.
Though Nepal defeated Pakistan by 12-0 goals in their first match, they could not find chances so much against Bangladesh as the girls in red and green showed their strong performances in the field.
