Mushfiq, Mehidy take Bangladesh past 200

Sports Desk: Bangladesh had fallen in trouble as Tigers lost top five wickets for just 88 runs in 24.3 overs in the second ODI of three-match series against Sri Lanka.

In such crucial moment of the innings, wicketkepper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took Bangladesh past 200.

However, Mehidy went back after posting 43 runs off 49 balls with 6 fours.

Sabbir Rahman was run out just for 11 runs off 19 balls. He hit 2 fours in his short innings.

Senior batsman Mahmudullah returned to the pavilion after scoring just 6 runs while Mohammad Mithun for 12 runs.

The two openers Tamimi Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar were removed just for 19 and 11 runs respectively.

The hosts beat Bangladesh in the previous match by 91 runs.
