Sakib best of decade in Cricinfo

Bangladesh‘s ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has been selected as one of the best decade performers in ODIs in the famous Wisden Almanack annual magazine. He also has secured a posion as one of the best decade performers in ODIs in the website Cricketinfo. 

Shakib Al Hasan is the side's allrounder, having spent the decade giving Bangladesh not only runs and wickets but control and balance thanks to his multifarious talents; Imran Tahir, the leading legspinner in the format in the 2010s, takes the other spin role.

The list was made by a panel of writers who contribute to Wisden, colloquially the Bible of cricket. Shakib played 131 ODIs in the last 10 years, scoring 4276 runs at an average of 38.87. The all-rounder also scalped 177 wickets, the most by a spinner in the last decade.

His highest knock of 124 not out came against West Indies in the World Cup in England. He ended up as the third-highest run-getter at the World Cup with 606 runs at an average of 86.57.
