Shakib uncertain for Pakistan series

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was ruled out due to hamstring injury from the ongoing T20 World Cup in UA. Now he is uncertain for the home series against Pakistan.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Debashish Chowdhury confirmed this. He said, “Shakib’s injury is grade one and it will take 2-3 weeks to get fit.”

Bangladesh will play a three-match T20I series and two-match Test series against Pakistan at home. The first T20 match will take place on November 19 at Sher-e Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. Other two matches will be held on November 20 and November 22.

The first Test will begin on November 26 while the second test will take on December 4.
