Imranur wins gold at Asian Indoor Athletics Championships

Imranur Rahman of Bangladesh claimed a gold medal in the 10th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In the men's 60m sprint, Imranur finished first with 6.59 seconds on Saturday (February 11).
He became the first Bangladeshi to win a gold medal at the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship. His previous personal best timing was 6.64 seconds during the World Indoor Athletics held in Belgrade last year.
The 2023 Asian Athletics Indoor Championships is to run through February 12 in the Kazakh capital. The tournament has brought over 500 athletes from 31 countries together.
