Pakistan set 283-run target for Afghanistan

Pakistan have set a target of 283 runs for Afghanistan in their ODI World Cup-2023 match in Chennai.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bat first. Top knocks from Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafique propelled Pakistan to 282/7 in 50 overs against Afghanistan.
Pakistan lost an early wicket but Shafique played a knock of 58 runs and kept them in the game. Later, Babar scored 75 and kept the momentum on Pakistan's side.
Finally, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan also smashed 40 runs each and guided Pakistan to a good total.
For Afghanistan, Noor Ahmad took three wickets while Naveen-Ul-Haq took two wickets.
