Shakib spotted in Mirpur

The Bangladesh cricket team has reached Kolkata as the team will take on the Netherlands at the Eden Gardens.

But skipper Shakib al Hasan directly flew to Dhaka instead of being with the team, however, his sudden arrival is still unknown.

Many think that Shakib has come in Dhaka to talk with coach Nazmul Abedin Fahim to identify the faults. Shakib was seen with Fahim at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.

Bangladesh is at the bottom in the performance table of the World Cup. Out of five matches, Bangladesh was defeated in four matches which almost have ruined their hopes to seal the semifinal spot.

Bangladesh suffered a crushing 149-run defeat against South Africa at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Shakib’s performance was very poor. He scored only 56 runs in four matches.
