Australia beat Netherlands by 309 runs in the match 24 of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Australia set a mammoth 400-run target for Netherlands. They bowled out the Netherlands for 90 runs to register their third consecutive win.

The 309-run victory margin shows the firepower of the five-time champions.

Adam Zampa took 4 wickets, while Mitchell Marsh added 2 scalps.

Earlier, Australia accumulated 399/8 in 50 overs, with David Warner and Glenn Maxwell smashing hundreds.  
Glenn Maxwell took 40 balls to smash the fastest hundred in the history of the 50-overs World Cup.

Australian batters David Warner and Smith built a strong partnership to keep Australia on track to post a big target.

Opener Warner struck 104, his second successive hundred of the tournament.

Steve Smith (71) and Marnus Labuschagne (62) also made merry against the inexperienced Dutch attack but Maxwell simply feasted on them smacking eight sixes and nine fours in his blitz.
